What is "Story Club"? A growing network of storytelling venues nationally, The Story Club franchise was originally established by Dana Norris in Chicago.

Story Club SWMI events are intended to gather a community of people who enjoy telling and listening to stories about things that matter. Story Club is a forum for non-fiction stories, that is to say true stories drawn from the life of the storyteller. Each storyteller must tell his/her tale in 8 minutes or less. Every time we convene Story Club Buchanan, our intent will be to honor the intricate, often beautiful relationship that exists between the storyteller and the audience, a relationship born of trust and mutual respect.

Our inaugural public event will feature a delightful mix of experienced storytellers and potentially some people who are telling a story in public for the first time!
